Rotary Club to Build Bathrooms

Club members Bill Benton, Carl Cool, and George Hensley also spoke to the City Council in support of the project.

The building will be concrete block with stucco finish inside and out, and will be ADA compliant. It will have 6 stalls each on both the men’s and women’s sides of the building. There will be automatic faucets, toilets, hand dryers and lighting. The building will be air conditioned for comfort in the summer months, which can be controlled remotely by City Public Works. Built-in changing tables will be in both men’s and women’s restrooms. For security, there will be exterior lighting and cameras, and it will feature a vandal-resistant design.

When finished, a local artist will paint a Rotary/Sebring themed mural on the side facing the Circle. The club is hoping to break ground before the end of the year, with completion projected to be in the spring of 2025.
