Avon Park Main Street officials have announced that they’ve partnered with Visit Florida and Florida Main Street to promote tourism in the city’s historic downtown district, part of a broader initiative to drive visitors to historic areas across the state.
The collaboration aims to increase foot traffic to local businesses, enhance visibility for small communities, and support economic growth through targeted promotion of historic downtowns.
Avon Park Main Street, an affiliate of the Florida Main Street program administered by the Florida Department of State’s Division of Historical Resources, will highlight the city’s walkable Main Street as a destination for dining, shopping, lodging, and exploration.
